Spaced is a British television comedy sitcom that originally aired from 1999 to 2001. The show was created by Simon Pegg and Jessica Stevenson (now Hynes), who also starred in the lead roles. It was directed by Edgar Wright, who would later collaborate with Pegg and Nick Frost on films such as "Shaun of the Dead," "Hot Fuzz," and "The World's End."

The show follows the lives of two twenty-something flatmates, Tim and Daisy, who pose as a professional couple in order to rent a flat in London. The show features an eclectic cast of characters, including Tim's best friend Mike, Daisy's best friend Twist, and their oddball neighbour Brian.

"Spaced" is known for its quirky, pop culture-infused humour, as well as its use of fast-paced editing and visual gags. The show also features a number of homages to films and TV shows, particularly those from the sci-fi and horror genres.

Despite its relatively short run, "Spaced" has become a cult classic and is regarded as one of the best British sitcoms of all time. The show helped launch the careers of Pegg, Stevenson, and Wright and has since been credited with influencing a new generation of British comedies.
